As the state capital and most populous city in Bavaria, Munich offers all the advantages of a metropolis. Art and culture, intercultural life, a wide range of sports and leisure activities and the proximity to the airport characterize the city. In contrast, the surrounding area offers pure nature. Many lakes and even the Alps are quickly reached and invite you to relax and recharge your batteries.
In Munich, we operate our research and development center for new CIGS cell designs, new manufacturing processes and production facilities. Here, the focus of development is on continuously improving the module efficiency and energy yield of CIGS cells and modules up to a size of 30 x 30 cm2. In addition, the PowerMax and SKALA test systems installed worldwide are also simulated and analyzed from here with regard to energy yield. This analysis is supplemented by intensive product characterization of the CIGS modules both for their use in classic PV applications and as a construction product in building-integrated applications. Approximately 40 people are employed at the site.
