Design Engineer Electrics (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the conceptual, constructive and project-related processing and support of production plants and components
• The revision, further development and creation of electrical designs and circuit diagrams for conversions and plant integration, including their documentation using CAD/CAE EPLAN, is part of your everyday work
• You will be responsible for ensuring, evaluating and accepting the specification and professional execution of electrical installations for both your own and external projects
• You independently work out specifications for the electronics of the installations and develop electrotechnical concepts
• Close cooperation with the CE representative and software development (PLC) in ongoing conformity assessments is a matter of course for you
• You are the interdepartmental contact person for electrotechnical topics and revise technical guidelines
• You work closely with other departments e.g.: Purchasing, Production as well as Mechanical and Software Design

Requirements:

• You have successfully completed your university degree in electrical engineering or electrical power engineering or are a state-certified technician specializing in electrical engineering
• You have several years of experience in plant engineering, ideally for vacuum coating plants
• You efficiently implement your extensive technical know-how with EPlan and use Microsoft Office in your daily work
• You are familiar with the design of complex electrical systems as well as control cabinet design and the creation of safety matrices
• You can ensure CE-compliant development of systems in accordance with the relevant Machinery Directive
• You have knowledge of the current Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC or Low Voltage and EMC Directive and use your knowledge of standards, especially "Electrical Equipment of Machines" (EN 60204), in a targeted manner
• Ideally, you have already evaluated and accepted systems / components from outside Europe
• You have already proven your communication and assertiveness skills internationally
• You are working in a structured manner, additionally and you are characterized by a high level of commitment
• Your business German and English are fluent at any time
